Membership in the FuRSST program will facilitate communication and participation between FuRSST and its industry partners in areas of mutual interest including the following:
- While
the university owns intellectual property and copyrights, we
essentially provide licences for members and legal affiliates to use,
sell, modify, or sublicenceour software upon joining. Our goal is
to allow members hassle free and unfettered access to our code.
- An annual meeting with formal presentations by
faculty and students on new and on-going research and with
opportunities for an informal exchange of ideas among industry
representatives and FuRSST researchers.
- Visits by the director and students to engage in collaborations or to deliver software and algorithms,
- The opportunity to recruit expertly-trained students.
